Sermon Title: Title: Dazed & Amazed Lessons from the book of Job

Praise Fellowship

Title: Dazed & Amazed Lessons from the book of Job

Speaker: Pastor Aaron Sikhosana

Main Text; Job 2:11-13

Points:
*Why do bad things happen to good folks
*What Kind of God do we worship
*Job thought that success is a natural by product of right living
*Job's Stress is a Result of His World View being Shattered
*We often get upset or disallusioned when God doesn't work the miracle or heal those you pray for
*Job is saddened when he realizes God is no Longer rewarding his good behavior or when the things in your life contradict God's Mercy & Grace that you or I have come to enjoy or maybe boldly Expect God to Deliver
*Innocent Suffer All the Time...The Rightious suffer the Same if Not More than the Wicked
*Jesus was crucified on Friday But Jesus rose from the Dead on Sunday
*Job is like things just don't since to Job anymore
*The fact that Innocenct Suffer can't be due to God being Unjust
*Victimised the victim because it can't be that God punished the rightious...God is a Compassionate God
* Tragedy happens for a reason...When desaster happens doesn't mean it has God's stamp
* God reserves the Right to rebuild from the ashes but that doesn't mean He Inflicted the Fire that caused the ashes
*Explanation: God & the Devil agreed to make Job's life a battle ground WITHOUT his Permission
*Job wasn't tested to make him stronger or wiser it was to prove a point
*Satin doesn't ask your permission before he Tempts you & God also doesn't ask for our Permission to Deliver us
*Our beliefs constrict how We Want God
*Job is not a hero not because he doesn't get Hurt or Angry but because He Cry's Out: Though He Slays (kills) me yet will I trust Him...
*Our circumstances Don't Reflect God in Anyway
*Too much preaching is done on How good God is...But GIVE God the Freedom Not to Deliver!!!
*God's Response to Job's Despair:"Where were you when I laid the foundations of the world".....Job 38&39
*God doesn't answer not One of Job's Questions
*Job says "I'm Sorry God I thought I knew You". Job's questions have No Significance in the presence of God's Greatness
*The book of Job is Not to help us understand trials & tribulations but to give God Reverance when we don't Understand God..
*Don't claim you understand if you don't just look to God and ask Him for Faith to hold on for your breakthrough!!!
*What do you do when our life circumstances contridict what we think God should be doing in our lives?
*I will trust God No Matter My Current Situation
