My Reaction to Fireproof the Movie

Wow! I watched Fireproof the Movie for the very first time last night. People have been telling me to watch it for some time and for some reason I put it off until last night. I can't tell you how moved I was by the content of the movie. I'm going to break down what I viewed to be the major topics then I'm going to discuss the movie and give my reaction.

Movie Plot: A typical American family gets married and as the years have gone by the marriage has nearly ended in divorce. The husband and wife both feel justified in their reasons for wanting to leave the marriage. The husband receives a "Love Dare Journal" from his father in a desperate attempt to save his marriage. The husband takes on the 40 Day Love challenge at first motivated by his respect for his father. Later the husband continues the love challenge because the husband has fallen in Love with God. The love he has for God is so deep that he learns how to love his wife in a totally new way. The way God intended which is to love unconditionally!

My Reaction: I watched this movie not knowing what the main premise of the movie was. I watched it just because different ones kept telling me I should watch it. The funny thing is I saw parts of myself in both characters in the movie. I could relate with both the husband and the wife. Let me explain. The wife was a career woman who found it her responsibility to do all of the house chores because he husband for seven long years had taken the stance that all the house work belonged to the wife. Both the husband and the wife had demanding careers. The wife a Hospital Public Relations Official and the husband a Chief Firefighter. I found that both of them felt they were each under appreciated. Neither of them knew or took the time to try to understand the needs of one another. I was shocked to see how bad things had gotten without there being a huge major issue like finances or infidelity. The ONLY issue I saw was that instead of a marriage of partnership their marriage had become one of responsibility.

Major Topics Addressed:

1) Is it good enough to be a good person minus a relationship with God?

*This was a shocking concept to see played out on the movie screen because often times Hollywood creates movies where there are "good characters". But there is no mention of God being the motivational force behind the acts of love or kindness demonstrated through the lives of the characters. This point made me take a look at myself and face the concept that me just trying to get by as a borderline good person is NOT good in the eyes of God!

2) What motivates your love for others in your relationship with others be it a romantic one or a non-romantic relationship?

*This movie brought out that TRUE LOVE begins with a foundations of Love that can ONLY come from God! This is a mind blowing concept. Its simple enough to grasp but its one of those concepts like "faith" or "salvation" its easy to get the mental understanding but a daily challenge to incorporate those intangible beliefs into our daily lifestyle. The movie went so far as to say that unless you open your heart to accept God's love and salvation then there is NO WAY you will ever be able to LOVE anyone be it a partner or a friend! The movie said that God has to show me His love and once that happens my motivation and love for others will begin to flow freely without hesitation.

3) When is enough...really enough in marriage?

*The movie said that there should NEVER be a point of NO return in a marriage. This is because the marriage vows are sacred. The vows show a covenant between the man and woman and God. The marriage simply isn't a contract on paper but it is a covenant that God takes very seriously! The movie illustrates that since God NEVER stops loving us that we should NEVER stop loving or fighting for the love of our marriage.

4) Where does God fit into the practical application of building a relationship with God as the true foundation and center of a relationship?

*The movie shows that God NEVER EVER gives up on us. That even when we turn our backs on God He is still there to help and love us past all of our pain. The movie shows that no one not even our earthly parents can love us as deeply as Jesus. The movie challenges each one to make God the head of their lives through daily devotion and reflection on God's word and love for us.

5) How do I practically show my love for God in my relationships?

*The movie demonstrated that if we are motivated by God's love then we won't look for our acts of love to be rewarded. Daily rewards or words of thanks are NOT the motivating factors in a relationship where God is the true center. The movie goes on to emphasize that the way we love others shows how much we love God! Wow what a concept! Basically it takes the whole bible text "Love your brother as you love yourself to another level". It challenges us not to look for appreciation from those in our lives but that we should get fulfillment from God which WILL ACTIVATE our LOVE for those in our lives.

Conclusion:
I was really touched by this movie and I'm thinking about taking the 40 Day Love Dare Challenge. The cool thing is you can take the challenge as an individual or as a couple! So either way you can either deepen your relationship with God and improve how you demonstrate God's love in your various relationships. Or you can take the challenge as a couple and together choose to deepen your relationship with God and each other. The interesting thing is your relationship doesn't have to be in shambles for you to take the challenge. All you need is a willing heart so that you can begin to see just how DEEP God's love is for us all! I hope this movie review was more than just a movie review! I hope God was able to touch your heart and mind in some small way through this article! Thanks for reading!

Long or Short Hair Halle Which do you like?

Ok so I HAVE to talk about this LONG HAIR vs SHORT HAIR debate! I just have to get it OFF my CHEST! I can't tell you why it bothers me when I hear my friends TELL LIES about HOW LONG their HAIR WAS when they were a KID! I hate these stories because I know HAIR! I've been in the HAIR industry in one capacity or another seemingly since birth. I grew up with my Dad doing my hair. Yes I said it my Dad did my hair growing up NOT MY Mom. Anyways my Dad has a background of hair because his Dad my grandfather owned a thriving Barber shop during the time around Motown in Detroit, Michigan. Anyways I'm getting off track...I was sharing that story to show that HAIR knowledge is in my BLOOD. Anyways it bothers me when people say they had LONG hair because I can look at the texture of their hair and know right off that YES their hair may have been to their shoulder MAYBE but it was NOT DOWN THEIR BACKS! It just wasn't!
My hair was actually LONG and DOWN my BACK! Up until recently I had long hair REALLY I DID! So now back to Halle! I like her better with short hair because I think the short hair makes her stand out more than her long hair! I was just wondering what you think about this whole long hair short hair thing in relationship to women of color! I have no issue with weave. I think that if you buy it PLEASE style it correctly! I so HATE to see EVERY SINGLE Celebrity in WEAVE in MOVIES! It's frustrating to see one scene where they have short hair and then the next with long hair. I just think it's not realistic. That's why I like the new TV Series on BET called My Black is Beautiful! The focus of the show is eliminate the concept that we as women of color have to get relaxers or weaves in order to feel beautiful. The show talks about how we as women of color have been told for years that if you're light then you're right. Or if you have hazel eyes or straighter grade of hair that you have good hair. And honestly my HAIR was an ISSUE growing up. It's funny looking back on it now because those same people that wouldn't say hey to me talk to me now simply because I've had a reasonable measure of success in my Journalism Career. My entire life I wanted to fit in. I actually remember praying for "nappy" hair so I could have an afro for 70's Day back in middle and high school. But the hosts on the show try to empower us as women of color to love our uniqueness! So they said if I'm blessed with long hair then flaunt it if not and I have nappy hair then wear it in twist or dreads. Either way I need it get it through my head that "Hey MY BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL"! I was so inspired by this message that I felt I had to write something. Hair for us as women of color is always a touchy topic so I hope I didn't offend anyone by this article. If you're a nappy headed person then its ok! Be happy being nappy! If you are a light skinned sista who has long flowing hair and hazel or blue eyes then that's great! Either way God made all of us and we should all be happy and accept ourselves for the beautiful women we are! Please become a follower I'd love to read your comments on my articles! Just LOOK at them! They are so beautiful! Whenever I'm tempted to feel overwhelmed about life circumstances I smile to myself and think: "Life can't be that bad...MY PRESIDENT is BLACK"! You may be tempted to ask how this fact has the power to turn a sucky day into an Amazing day...Well I'll tell you! You see often times when people see others trying to be successful others down play them with negativity! But for me when I wake up and see hey President Obama is MY President I think to myself...Whatever challenge or hardship I am faced with I think if "HE CAN DO IT...SO CAN I"...in terms of being successful and doing and thinking things that are so far outside of the box that your friends just look at you with blank faces like...hmmm..oh boy...But what if by working hard and determination my dreams could come true! Well I choose to believe that I can DO anything...Literally ANYTHING I set my mind to! And having HOPE is something that my President and his wife do for me! They give me hope that I don't have to always be judged by my color I can be judged by the content of my character! Imagine that! I think NOW is the absolute BEST TIME in HISTORY to be BLACK in America! And it's because "My PRESIDENT IS BLACK"! YAY OBAMA!

Sermon Background: This is the story of the two women who went to King Solomon to get the situation resolved concerning their newborn son's. Now I knew this story but I didn't remember that both the mother's were prostitutes. This was to show that mother's don't have to be perfect. The pastor went on to explain that God used messed up people to teach and to lead so that we as sinner's and people with issues can relate to situation. But being that its mother's day Pastor Morris said he wanted to preach about a Mother's love and compare that Love to the Unconditional, Passionate love that God has for us His children! Dreams come from 3 places
1. God
2. Devil
3. And eating late and going to bed

Main Points:
1. King Solomon asks for Wisdom after God gives him a "Blank Check" to get his hearts desire.

2. Mother's aren't perfect no body is perfect

3. God can take a no body and turn you into somebody

4. *Some Mother's are difficult, hateful, never pleased
*Some Mother's are the image of God: they are happy, peacemakers
*Mother's aren't perfect but some are closer than others

5. Paul said No one is Perfect

6. Mother's have a 6th since, Mother's know their children

7. When I'm not thinking about nothing my Mom is praying & thinking about Me

8. Mother's will sacrifice

9. King Solomon knew a good mother will sacrifice for her children

10. A mother will go without

11. I can't let my child get so involved with everything else but forget a relationship with God

12. Mother's have problems

13. A good mother will always hurt when her child hurts

14. Motherhood is a life long ministry

15. Jesus says there's no charge for peace, salvation, happiness
Just like Mother's there's no charge for her love, prayers & concern

16. Mother's stay faithful, don't give up on God no matter how challenging life gets! Also remember that the reason for trial and issues with your children are made to notice your need for God! God wants you to come to Him rather than stressing or beating up yourself for your mistakes both past and present that you make with your children. God wants you to know that the love you have for your children is the same love He has for all of Us!

For those of you who know me you know I love quality! I love quality homes, cars, boats, and especially electronics and things that sparkle. So I got to thinking...Hmmm...I love the Motown error I love classic muscle cars. I love cigars and golf courses. I love going boating and traveling going out to eat and just enjoying life. So to be honest I have been enjoying life dating different men for different reasons. In my most recent dating escapades I found it was easier to remain sexually pure while dating a few men. For example, I may have a man that is a graduate student who I go to the bookstore with who I can have challenging conversations with. Then maybe a different man to take me out to eat at expensive restaurants this man may be a doctor, lawyer, or other professional. Then a man (who lives a different lifestyle sexually) who enjoys going shopping with me who isn't in a rush. Then a man who will go to church with me so I don't have to go by myself. Then finally a man who has a baby or children who I can help take care of...You know with homework or babysitting or whatever.
So now this is my new outlook! ENOUGH OF THAT! You see my whole mission was to keep myself busy with church activities, mentorship, or whatever so I can wait to be found. The Bible say's, "Blessed is he who finds a woman of virtue"! Key word: FIND....Meaning he will search and look so heard for God that the man God has for me will come and find me!
Now that I've laid the foundation for my topic let me dive right in! Ok I'm a 25 year old woman and this clearly is directed to women who find themselves single and complete who wouldn't mind having a partner. A man who is on your team who isn't trying to change YOU! A GM is a man who accepts you. Well at least this has been MY EXPERIENCE. Ok there are several benefits to dating a GM (Grown Man)!!!

***Let me list a few for you:
• He's experienced life and is confident!
• He has dated women so he can take you out without you thinking..."Are you serious"? Something simple like taking
you on a date can turn into a complicated situation with the wrong man regardless of AGE! Trust Me!
• He's had the benefits of dating women who have cultivated him into what he is!
• He's fine with you being you!
• He'll be patient with you and let you learn how to develop into your true womanhood.

*Most of the People who God used the most all had one thing in common: They ALL HAD BAD REPUTATIONS! Just take a look at the following people God was able to use in a mighty way even with all the chit chat people did concerning their lives.Cain: Killed His brother,Rahab: A Prostitute, Moses: Murderer, Noah: A Drunk, David: Wife Taker, Solomon: Womanizer. Even Jesus was talked about and lied on and even Jesus had a bad reputation among His people but that didn't stop Jesus from the Mission God had set out for His life. So the point is don't let what other think or say about you get you off the mission God has for your life.

*No one is too dirty to be washed or Too hungry to be filled

*Jesus was afflicted and Despised had the Worse Reputation so much so that Jesus was crucified on the Cross for your sins & My Sins

WATERING MY SOIL....(Puting nutrients into myself...taking a hard look in the mirror and working things out that need to be worked out!!!)

Ok I am currently doing things that make me happy! I want to be ready when God sends me my man! So I have PUT all CAREER obligations on the back burner!!! I'm working on the things I need to work out in myself. I'm working mostly as a freelance Journalist (I write for online magazines and cover random events and I am also doing product reviews), baby sitter, hair braider, and Mary Kay Beauty Consultant! This is all so I don't have to work CRAZY LONG hours! Hell I feel I've done quite allot in my little life so I feel I've earned the RIGHT to sit down and enjoy the fruits of my labor and networking I've done during my career in Journalism. So yes my plans at the moment do include Law School but that isn't my main priority at the moment! Right now I'm just relaxing and being happy just enjoying my friends and cousins and family members that love me!

WHAT I'VE Recently Learned about MEN!!!

***Men are more sensitive than women....See the thing is we as women are encouraged to express our feelings as litle girls...But men are taught to SUCK it UP...So this FACT makes it hard for men to express their feelings...So keep this in mind when dealing with the men in your life...When your the MAN speaks let him talk even if he isn't saying anything...Remember and Know that its taking allot out of him to say anything about his feelings at all...Men weren't wired like us...SO stop expecting him to respond to the love you give your way...Open youself up to Love you His way!!!Expect nothing and Appreciate everything that Your Man does!!!

Ok I'm almost finished reading Steve Harvey's Act Like a Lady Think Like a Man Book. And I must say WOE... I didn't expect to learn so much from one of the legendary Kings of Comedy...

That said Seve Harvey who I will further refer to him as SH says that ALL MEN not SOME but ALL MEN are fishermen..

He says there are two types of fishermen:
1. The sports fisherman
2. The one who fishes to EAT

He then goes on to say that sports fishermen are just doing it as a relaxing activity...These fishermen have NO Intention whatsoever to BRING the fish home. They are in it for the RIDE for the HIGH of simmer' in nature and then suddenly CATCHING a HUGE prize that they look at and take a picture of with their Homies. Then once the picture taking is done the fish goes back into the water.

Then the other type of fisherman FISHES with a WHOLE different MISSION. He's not doing it for FUN OR SPORT. This NIGGA HAS got to EAT! He's been working all day and can barely see straight... This MAN Has no time for games he HAS TO EAT to LIVE.

Now to bring it all home...Men are either dating you to look at you, fuck you, then throw you back in the water. Or they are dating you to catch you and take you home to their family and make you HIS WIFE. There isn't any other way about it...Food for thought...

Then he breaks down the categories he says men need 3 THINGS:
1. RESPECT
2. LOYALTY
3. THE COOKIE (PUSSY)

Then he says if a Man loves you He'll do 3 THINGS:

1. PROFESS: (GIVE YOU A TITLE...IF HE INTRODUCES ME TO HIS FRIENDS AS NATASHA RAY THEN THAT'S WHO I AM TO HIM...SIMPLY ANOTHER WOMAN)

2. PROVIDE: (If he has a dollar then he's going to give you $.50...a man who loves you won't let you NEED For ANYTHING if he can HELP IT...NOW wants he'll try to DO but that's based on THE previously mentioned three above...IF you aren't giving him Respect, he see's there is NO Loyalty, and you hold out on the COOKIE...He'll get it from some where....know that...

3. PROTECT: (A man who LOVES you won't want you out at night running wild in the streets because he has to sit and worry about you. If he's there he wants to walk next to you to make sure no one even thinks about mistreating you. If your man doesn't show that he gives a SHIT then he doesn't. Really Simple.

Finally...
He ASK in his BOOK an IMPORTANT question...."Ladies are you a Keeper or a Throw Back"?

SH says WE as women DETERMINE...THIS...NOT MEN...we determine if Men look at us as "Keepers" or as "Throw backs" by our Behavior.

Simply put....If you have NO MORALS or STANDARDS...THEN he won't have an standards for treating you like you deserve. If you act and dress like a hoe then don't be SHOCKED if that's how you get treated.

However...IF you WALK AND TALK like the QUEEN God Designed for us all to be then HE AS A man will HAVE NO CHOICE but to treat you with RESPECT, HONOR AND LOVE!

The OLD quote that says: "Birds of a feather flock together" most def. applies here. IF your GIRLS are hoes AND you act and dress like one then WHAT other conclusion are men to COME TO?

This also means that if you carry yourself with respect for yourself and class you'll have more men ready to kiss your ass then you would think. And if he doesn't want to treat you RIGHT you don't need him ANYWAYS!!!

His point is Ladies there is a GAME being played.. Don't hate the game PLAY It to win!

So NOW all day I look at other women and smile to myself "Keeper", "Throw Back"!!! I'm a lady but now I have the tools to see what men See when they see Me....

1. I am a very loving person even with all of the hash lessons I've endured I still believe that I DESERVE true love and that it is indeed out there.

2. I AM SO MUCH more than WHAT meets the EYE! Often times I am judged by my appearance. Especially in work situations, people are shocked to learn that I have Excellent WORK ethic and that I work hard for what I've achieved in life. People believe for some reason that I get what I get simply because to some I am "cute".

3. I am A very Aggressive, Opinionated Woman! I KNOW what I want out of life and I go Get It!

4. I NO longer let what others think or say about me determine how I live my life.

5. I got my ears pierced because My mom made me upset one day by saying I hope you aren't doing something stupid like getting your ears pierced to make a point. I actually wasn't at the time but BEING that she said that I went and got them done out of SPITE. (Not a good reason to do anything I've since learned but yea...lol) Also I wear my ear rings to church, work or wherever unlike some FOLKS. I am who I am so you can EITHER love me or HATE ME... I'M cool either way :-)

6. I enjoy so many different things: listening to live music, photography (both shooting and modeling) , reading, writing poetry, short stories, lyrics, and exc. , shopping, dancing, spending time with friends, cooking, going to the SPA, getting my nails and toes done, being in Hair shows, Singing at church in the choir, group, or by myself, playing my alto Sax, jazz dance, yoga, swimming, candles and relaxing in general.

7. I'm a high strung individual so sometimes it takes allot out of me to relax being that I'm such a productive person.

8. I HAVE never learned how to be a GIRLFRIEND... My mom has been married for over 30 years and it is by watching her that I have become the woman that I have today. That said, She's taught me how to be a WIFE and Mother PERIOD.

9. In relationships and life in general I'm an ALL or NOTHING type of Chick. If I'm into you than I am. If I'm NOT then I'm not. Really Simple!

10. I've experienced QUITE allot in my little life some due to being in the right place at the right time and others due to my career.
Those who don't know I graduated from Andrews University in 2005 with a B.A. in Journalism and Communication and was apart of Lamda Pi Eta (National Honors Society for those who don't know) Since then I've worked at several TV stations in one capacity or another mostly as an On-Air TV personality. That said, there aren't too many people I haven't met or interviewed both in Black Entertainment, Music, Politics, or whatever.

11. I have had LOTS of stuff. I've received several gifts from "admirers/viewers" from flowers, to jewelry. Seriously... So gifts have little to no affect on me when it comes to winning my heart or affection.

12. The BEST relationship I've been in to date was NOT AN SDA! I want to eventually marry an SDA for obvious reasons such as raising children and stuff along that line. BUT in my experience SDA men can be quite SHALLOW in regards to the "double standard" mess of expecting me to Be Ellen G. White Incarnate while they've been MALE hoes. Fact is we've all had experiences and its like the first thing they want to know is how many men I've kissed ARE you Serious?!?! I'm almost 26 years old and if you think you are going to be the first to KISS me Sorry to burst that bubble!

13. I REALLY love traveling! With or without other people. If I feel so moved I'll go to another country just to go shoe shopping or to relax if I've had a hard week!

14. I am an APPLE fanatic! I so love gadgets in general but I especially LOVE apple products.

15. My dad taught me to cook because he said no matter how attractive or nice a female is A MAN has to EAT! SO he said if I didn't want my man going else ware to eat I had better learn how to at least pull off the basics like mac and cheese, greens, yams, corn bread, muffins, peach cobbler, and breakfast foods like eggs, pancakes, hash browns and exc. I think this is SOME of THE BEST advice I've ever gotten from my Dad because even after a relationship ends I still have folks calling me asking me to cook them certain dishes :-) Yay Me!

16. I PRIDE myself on NOT having to LEARN everything BY experience! I can listen to life experiences of others and gather the information I feel is applicable to my situation.

17. I hardly EVER have to learn the same lesson twice as far as life lessons go. Once I've hit my head so to speak I realize and then correct my actions so I don't have to go over the SAME drama AGAIN.

19. When it comes to relationships its sometimes hard for me to take off my aggressive hat and put on the submissive hat when I first walk through the door. If I've been giving orders all day then suddenly I find myself in relationships where the men need to be Constantly made to feel like they are the man in the situation being that I have such a dominate personality. My thing is this IF YOU ARE A GOOD leader then its EASY for me to follow. If you are always lost then DON'T be mad if I Tell you to PULL over and Let me Drive!

20. I am NOT high maintenance! I JUST like NICE THINGS which I may add I provide myself. I'm SO tired of the generalization when guys approach me. Saying stuff like I guess you only date rich men being that you have this or that. And my response is Yes I've gotten gifts WHAT woman hasn't but as for my LIFESTYLE I provide that MYSELF...THANK you very Much!

I am working so hard now as far as saving money and stuff because I want to have children one day and I want to to have the flexibility to stay home or work less hours if I want without putting the burden on the shoulders of my husband! I WANT to be a HANDS on MOTHER just like my MOM was and still is.

22. I love BEING involved in Ministry! Being that I am a people pleaser my nature I have to be careful that my doing stuff in church doesn't get in the way of me actually having a daily relationship with God! That said, I was involved in SO many ministries and activities in college that I didn't make time to build my daily relationship with God. So I don't do that anymore. Now I try to make sure that wherever I am spiritually reflects my Ministry.

23. I am probably one of the realist, laid back, females you'll ever come across, BUT don't get it TWISTED just because I'm small doesn't mean that you can WALK all over ME. You have the wrong one! I Like to think that I have the ability to express myself through which ever medium I feel necessary BUT when provoked I have been known to USE WORDS in ways you might not have thought possible... SO point is don't try me for the sake of it or you may see a side to me that you might not be ready to handle.

24. I am working on my relationship with GOD EVERYDAY! I want to be a Woman of Virtue! I don't always hit the mark but know that I'm striving towards it!

*Waiters don't tell the Owner.
*Waiters can't wear or eat what you want they have to follow what the owner says.

I'm A TV Journalist & So Much More!

Natasha Ray's most recent full time TV Reporter job was at Indiana's FOX 28 News, located in Elkhart Indiana. She was optimistic about getting the opportunity to be back in the community of her Alma Mater Andrews University. Prior to FOX 28, Natasha spent nearly two years at ABC 7 in Jackson Tennessee. There she was a general assignment reporter. While at ABC 7, she has gotten the opportunity to cover a variety of stories from car accidents to the nationally recognized murder trial of Mary Winkler. She has also been featured on the Oxygen TV Network Series entitled Snapped. She was featured on this show because she was the youngest reporter to cover this high profile case from 2006-2007. While working at ABC 7 her daily duties included shooting, writing and editing all of her work. Before working at ABC 7, Natasha worked as a News Trainee at FOX 5 Atlanta.
Her responsibilities included writing scripts, logging video, and assisting in the field. While working at FOX 5 Atlanta she got the opportunity to assist in the field while working on the highly televised Sullivan murder trial. She also got to assist in the field while covering Coretta Scott King’s funeral also in Georgia. Natasha has interned at WDIV-TV 4 in Detroit where she got to shadow a veteran Reporter who was working on the Jimmy Hoffa Story. Also, while working at WDIV-TV she got to meet President Bush during his Michigan Campaign. Natasha also had the opportunity to witness the Detroit Pistons Championship. She has worked as a One-Man Band Reporter and Producer for WYGN-TV (Andrews University broadcast).
Natasha graduated with a B.A. in Journalism and Communications from Andrews University located in Berrien Springs, Michigan. She was inducted into Lambda Pi Eta (Communications National Honors Society) in 2004. She also was recognized as Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges in February 2005.
Natasha longs for a family of her own. She is looking forward to one day getting married and raising a family of her own. But until that day comes she keeps herself busy with many volunterring projects. Mentorship is very close to her heart she works with teens and young adults each week in one capacity or another be it tutoring or just being a "Big Sister". Natasha also gives motivational speeches all across Michigan and Indiana. She has been the keynote speaker at several "Career Day" events ranging from Elementary to University level audiences.
Natasha Ray is currently living in Indiana where she is pursuing her law degree. She enjoys spending time with friends, family and most of all spending time with God. She is a new member of the Praise Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Praise and Worship Group. Praise Fellowship is located in South Bend, Indiana. The Senior pastor of Praise Fellowship is Pastor Donald Morris. Pastor and Sister Morris have been married for 39 years. The lord has blessed them with three beautiful daughters. Even though Natasha was born and raised Seventh-day Adventist she still shares her music ministry at two First Day churches. Every other Sunday Natasha sings at Church of God and Christ and at a Small Baptist Church near her home. Natasha enjoys sharing her music ministry! Cooking is also a passion of this very Ambitious and driven young lady. She credits many of her cooking skills to her father who taught her many of the dishes she cooks. She also babysits and braids hair in her spare time.
